Description
It is a bright, energetic day at the beach, where three very different Pokémon are enjoying the shore in their own ways. A mischievous Gengar cuts through choppy, white-capped waves on a surfboard, tongue out in pure glee. On the sand, Charmander relaxes in a lounge chair beneath a parasol, while Snorlax has completely surrendered to the sun, slumbering face-down in the warm sand. The scene captures a playful, tranquil summer afternoon in motion.
Built inside a 6.3″ two-toned sphere, the interior landscape balances solid earth and dynamic water. The shoreline is crafted from real sand, accented by Dragon stone hardscape and small tufts of preserved grasses. The choppy surf is a combination of a tinted resin base and hand-sculpted silicone to create the cresting, white-water effects. The 3D-printed, hand-painted figures are permanently secured, with Gengar dynamically mounted to ride the crest of the sculpted wave.
This specific scene was chosen to highlight the contrasting personalities of the subjects. The juxtaposition of Gengar’s chaotic, high-energy surfing against Snorlax’s absolute, immovable rest captures the varied ways we all experience a perfect day by the water.
